Prologue Cross
Ontario Cycling-sanctioned Ontario Cup cyclocross round with full category racing plus beginner extras — free kids’ course and race with prizes, women-only guided ride, open Try-a-Ride. Spectators get free coffee, a beer garden, music and announcing. Organized by Uxbridge Cycling Club and Peterborough Cycling Club; proceeds support Uxbridge Hospital Foundation. Racers register in advance at prologuecross.ca; beginner extras register on-site race day. Course pre-ride Saturday Oct 17, 4-6 p.m.

Spectator admission is free according to the Township listing. Race registration is separate. The organizer lists an all-ages untimed ride at $20 for adults; women’s pre-ride and kids’ try-a-race are free. Check the organizer for racer fees and eligibility.
